OPERA AREPO vol. 1 is a new concert series in which AREPO presents completed works alongside works in progress in a more informal and intimate setting. The series offers audiences a glimpse into different stages of the creative process, featuring performances by the ensemble as a whole as well as individual projects by its members.
AREPO— cello, clarinet, accordion, guitar—is an ensemble that reimagines new music through voice, movement, and interdisciplinary performance. Based between Oslo and NYC, with members from USA, Italy, Switzerland, and Latvia, AREPO approaches each collaboration as a border-crossing practice shaped by cultural exchange and experimentation. Highlights of 2025–26 include their album release of ‘Listening Time’, serving as the resident ensemble at Manhattan School of Music, and premiering 10 new works including pieces by Ashkan Behzadi and Reiko Füting.
